يتزامن ذلك مع بدء الهجوم على رفح ، اخر ملاجئ سكان غزة وتصعيد للمستوطنين بالضفة.
خاص – الخبر اليمني: ونقلت صحيفة الفايننشال تايمز البريطانية عن مصادر قولها أن دول عربية تبحث نشر قوات في الضفة وغزة تحت غطاء مجلس الأمن الدولي.
وكانت الصحيفة تشير إلى المقترح الإسرائيلي الذي كشفته وسائل اعلام أمريكية في وقت سابق وتضمن موافقة رئيس حكومة الاحتلال بنيامين نتنياهو على تقاسم السلطة في فلسطين مقابل التطبيع مع السعودية.
وتقضى الخطة الإسرائيلية بنشر قوات من مصر والامارات والسعودية والولايات المتحدة في قطاع غزة والضفة مقابل تشكيل سلطة مناصفة بين الاحتلال وحلفائه العرب.
و المقترح الإسرائيلي جاء رد على وثيقة عربية تم صياغتها في الرياض خلال اجتماع لمجلس التعاون الخليجي وما يعرف بـ”السداسي العربي” الأسبوع الماضي وتم تسليمها لوزير الخارجية الأمريكي انتوني بلينكن الذي وصل لاحقا إلى الرياض وقام بنقل الوثيقة إلى حكومة الاحتلال .

وتتضمن الوثيقة ، وفق ما نشرته قناة العربية السعودية، تسليم غزة لسلطة فلسطينية تمولها الدول العربية إلى جانب الضفة الغربية مع إعادة هيكلة الأجهزة الأمنية بمشاركة عربية.
وتوقيت التحرك العربي في مجلس الامن للبحث عن قرار لتوفير الغطاء الدولي يشير إلى تعويل هذه الأطراف على قدرة الاحتلال بحسم معركة رفح وبما يمنحها فرصة للدخول بذريعة تأمين القطاع بعد فشل محاولات اجتياحه تحت ستار المساعدات.
