حادثة النيران الصديقة (22 ديسمبر 2024): في حادثة صادمة، أسقطت السفينة الحربية الأمريكية “يو إس إس جيتيسبيرغ” طائرة مقاتلة من طراز F/A-18F Super Hornet تابعة لـ”ترومان” فوق البحر الأحمر.
الحادث، الذي وُصف رسميًا بأنه “نيران صديقة”، أجبر الطيارين على القفز بالمظلات، حيث أصيب أحدهما بجروح طفيفة.
لكن كيف يمكن لقوة بحرية متطورة أن ترتكب مثل هذا الخطأ الفادح؟ البحرية الأمريكية لم تقدم تفسيرًا مقنعًا، مما يثير الشكوك حول مستوى التنسيق والتدريب داخل الأسطول فيما بعد اتضح عملية هجومية للحوثيين تسببت بحالة ارباك للدفاعات الأمريكية مما ادى الى اسقاط الطائرة بنيران صديقة التصادم مع سفينة تجارية (12 فبراير 2025) في شرق البحر المتوسط، قرب السواحل المصرية، اصطدمت “ترومان” بسفينة شحن بنماوية تُدعى “بيشيكتاش-إم”.
