Government: Yemen remains free of Coronavirus الثلاثاء 25 فبراير 2020 07:45 م الصحوة نت - خاص Alsahwa Net- The Yemeni Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that until now that the country remains free of the Coronavirus.

It refutes rumors that Yemen has set up a health quarantine center for confirmed foreign Coronavirus cases.

Undersecretary of the Health Ministry for First Care Sector, Dr.

Ali Al-Waleedi, said that the ministry has taken some preparatory measures to face any potential emergency related to the coronavirus.

He affirmed that when health authorities of other countries took preventative measures against the coronavirus, Yemen followed suit.

However, he said that reports on building a quarantine center for foreign corona cases to be brought to Yemen are baseless.

He called on citizens to support the ministry to implement its health plans which are intended to maintain the public health.
