President Hadi: Sheba region has become a reality الأربعاء 20 نوفمبر 2019 11:56 م الصحوة نت - خاص Alsahwa Net- The President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi said on Tuesday that the Sheba Region has become a reality in hearts of the region’s citizens.
The Yemeni political forces agreed during the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) in 2014 that Yemen to be a federal state of six regions.
The Sheba region is one of the total proposed six region.
It includes Marib, Al-Jawf and Al-Baida.
Marib which has been out of the Houthis rebels’ control became the hub of gathering and a home to millions of Yemenis who migrated from the Houthis-held areas looking for safety and economic opportunities.
Hadi voiced his appreciation of the Sheba region during his meeting with the governor of Marib, Sultan Al-Aradah, governor of Al-Baida, Naser Al-Sawadi and governor of Al-Jawf, Ameen Al-Okaimi.
Hadi valued efforts done by the Sheba coordination committee headed by Al-Aradah that has been working for two years to ease challenges and unify efforts to impose security in governorates of the region.
He also appreciated the support provided by citizens of the Sheba region and their stance with the government’s national army against the Iran-backed Houthis rebels.
“The people of the Sheba region have embodied the noblest humanitarian and manhood values by defending the country,” said Hadi.
He affirmed that the Sheba region will be granted its rights in line to the NDC document.
“The era of oppression and exclusion is gone forever,” said Hadi.
For their part, governors of the Sheba regions have extended their appreciation to the President Hadi who has been advocating for the federal system to establish for justice and wealth and power share.
