يتزامن ذلك مع طرحها مبادرة سلام جديدة في اليمن .
خاص – الخبر اليمني: وهددت الخارجية الامريكية بفرض مزيد من العقوبات ضد صنعاء ضمن ما وصفها بجملة خيارات للرد على استمرار الهجمات البحرية .

واشار متحدث الخارجية ماثيو ميلر، وفق ما نقلته صحيفة الشرق الأوسط السعودية عنه، إلى أن إدارة بايدن لا تزال تراجع خياراتها تجاه من وصفهم بـ”الحوثيين” مشيرا إلى ان بلاده تسعى لتحقيق سلام دائم في اليمن ومنع اتساع ما وصفه بالصراع في غزة في إشارة إلى ربط بلاده السلام في اليمن بوقف العمليات اليمنية التضامنية مع غزة.
وتأتي تصريحات الخارجية الامريكية في وقت تحدثت فيه انباء عن بدء أمريكا حراكا جديد لتسويق مبادرة جديدة للسلام في اليمن.
وأفادت مصادر دبلوماسية أمريكية بان إدارة بايدن سلمت مبادرة جديد للجانب السعودي لدراستها .

وتتضمن المبادر الية لتنفيذ خارطة الطريق الأممية.
ويأتي الحراك الأمريكي في وقت بدأت فيه روسيا حراكا في محاولة لدفع التسوية السياسية في اليمن.
والتقي القائم بأعمال السفير الروسي في اليمن بنظيره الامارات ضمن حراك بدا باتصال وزير الخارجية الروسي ونظيره السعودي وجميعها كرست لمناقشة الدفع بالتسوية في اليمن وخفض التصعيد.
كما تأتي في وقت تدفع فيه الأمم المتحدة عبر مبعوثها لاستئناف المفاوضات خصوصا الاسرى .
ولم يتضح بعد دوافع الخطوة الامريكية ومضمون مبادرتها ، لكن توقيت طرحها يشير إلى مخاوف من نجاح خصوم أمريكا من اختراق الملف اليمني لاسيما في ظل دائرة التصعيد بين القوات اليمنية والأمريكية في البحر الأحمر وخليج عدن .

ومع أن إدارة بايدن سبق وان أعلنت عقوبات عدة مرات ، الا ان التهديدات الأخيرة غير ذي جدوى خصوصا في ظل انتقال التصعيد إلى مرحلة المواجهة عسكريا.
