And the citizen "Abdel Moneim Sheikh" is the brother of a member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, a member of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Abdul Rahman Sheikh.

 The organization said, in a statement, that this violation of the crime of kidnapping and taking hostages is inconsistent with Article No.

(3) of the Geneva Convention on the Taking of Hostages, as it is also prohibited by the Fourth Geneva Convention and considers it a grave violation.

The British organization indicated that international humanitarian law prohibits the taking of hostages and considers these actions to be war crimes.

Front Line for Human Rights expressed its condemnation of this violation and the illegal act committed by a leader who is supposed to represent the security and military agencies of the state in implementing the law and not in deviating from it by kidnapping and taking hostages, which terrorist and extremist groups usually follow to put pressure on the authorities and that would disturb security.

And public tranquility.

The organization called on the Attorney General and the judicial authorities to take legal measures to investigate the kidnapping, release the citizen Abdel Moneim Sheikh Al-Yafei, and hold accountable the perpetrator who used his military position in committing this crime.
