According to the sources, a Houthi missile targeted Al-Mandhar neighborhood, adjacent to Al-Hodeidah airport, resulting in the destruction of 5 homes, while most of the families of the destroyed homes were outside their homes to carry out their daily work, which is usually fishing.

Two families miraculously escaped, while two women and three children were injured in varying degrees.

 They were immediately evacuated by rescue teams of the joint forces to receive treatment in the field hospital in Al-Khokha city.

The bombing completely destroyed five homes owned by citizens Yahya Abdullah Darrogan, Muhammad Yahya Hassan Barouneh, Muhammad Abdullah Jaber Ahmad, Abdullah Yahya Jarhzi and his brother Muhammad Yahya Jarhzi.

Also, neighboring houses were partially damaged in the horrific attack on the residential neighborhood.

The spokesman for the National Resistance on the West Coast, Brigadier General Sadiq Dowid, said that the Houthis were targeting the populated village of Al-Mandhar, south of Hodeidah, with a missile that destroyed homes of citizens.

The aim of the Houthi militia's attacks on residential neighborhoods is to force the residents to flee and prepare them to turn them into military targets.
